PORT CHESTER, N.Y. A man was arrested Saturday after stabbing his friend in the leg when the two made a pact of violence, police said.
Around 3:30 p.m. police received a report of a man with a knife wound to his leg at 455 N. Main St. When police arrived, they found another person downstairs at the location with blood all over his clothing.
The blood-covered man, Blas Carcamo, 28, of 313 Westchester Ave., Port Chester, became uncooperative and was yelling and screaming in an effort to not let the officers pass, police said. They arrested him on misdemeanor charges of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
Upstairs, police found Carcamos friend, who was bleeding heavily from a stab wound about a half-inch wide on the top half of his thigh. He told police the two men made a pact to stab each other in the leg with a knife.
After Carcamo stabbed his friend and saw how much blood there was, he backed out of the pact and went downstairs, where the police confronted him, said Lt. Jim Ladeairous, spokesman for the Port Chester Police Department.
The man who was stabbed was taken to Sound Shore Trauma Center in New Rochelle.
