PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Vincent Lagani of Port Chester died Oct. 3. He was 91.

Lagani was born in Bayonne, N.J., to William and Agnes Lagani. At an early age he moved to Mamaroneck and graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1942. He proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II, he served in the ETO. After the war he went on to work as a carpenter, he was a member of the Carpenters Union for over 65 years. He was a coach for the Mamaroneck Kiwanis Baseball League team. He was a trustee for the Mamaroneck Pop Warner Football League.

Lagani is survived by his son, William of Port Chester; brother, Ralph of Mamaroneck; and niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Harriet Lagani (nee Rich).

Calling hours are Monday, Oct. 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY. 914-698-5968. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
