Theresa Sisca, Former Port Chester, Harrison Resident, 94

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Theresa P. Sisca, a resident of West Palm Beach, FL and formerly of Port Chester and Harrison died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 27, surrounded by her family. She was 94. 

She was born October 16, 1920 in Port Chester to the late Pasquale and Palma Giusto Pennimpede. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1938.

 Sisca was a homemaker and an executive secretary at Spacetech and for Eton, Yale and Town. She was the widow of Mr. Joseph Sisca who passed in 1984 and also Mr. Angelo Spigarelli who passed in 2001.

Sisca was a devoted parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and was a member of the Our Lady Help of Christians and a member of the PTA of the Corpus Christi School. She was an avid reader and golfer.

“She was devoted to her family and the keeper of the family traditions that she passed on to the future generations.” Although she was 94 years old, she was a modern, active and forwarding thinking woman. She lived her life to the fullest.

Sisca is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Sisca and wife Diane of New Canaan, Robert Sisca and wife Denise of Norwalk, Palma Settimi and husband Rodolfo of Katonah. and Charles Sisca and wife Sherrie of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Pennimpede.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday Dec. 31, at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester Street Port Chester.

A prayer service will be held at noon at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook.
