Acerbo was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Stamford, Conn. She worked and retired as a switchboard operator for Norwalk Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rocco. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Welsh and husband Robert of Pittsburgh and Cathy Acerbo and partner Fred Boughton; her sons, James and wife Jody of Monroe, Conn., and Jack and wife Maria of Seminole, Fla.; grandchildren Michelle Smith and husband Christopher, Cathy Anne O'Malley and husband Shawn, Robert Welsh and wife Jamie, Michael Boughton, Christopher Acerbo, Tommy Acerbo, Ashley Acerbo and Andrew Acerbo; three great-grandchildren, sister Eileen Lovallo; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Craft Memorial Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
