PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Theognosia "Theresa" Anastasoglou, a resident of Port Chester, died Nov. 13. She was 93.
Anastasoglou was born Nov. 6, 1920, in Asia Minor, to Paesios and Ephtymia Papadopoulos. She immigrated to Greece at the age of two and then immigrated to the United States with her family in 1972. She was a retired employee of PepsiCo in Purchase and was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Savior in Rye.
Anastasoglou is survived by her son, Anastasios Anastasoglou; daughters, Despina Lampoglou of Port Chester, Effie Papadopoulos of Norwalk, Conn., and Cleo Stavrides of Rye; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Nikolaos Anastasoglou.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Church of Our Savior Westchester Ave. Rye. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye.
