RYE BROOK, N.Y. - Stephen Vincento, a Rye Brook, formerly of Mount Vernon, resident, died Oct. 5. He was 86.
Vincento was born Nov. 22, 1927, to Angelina and James. Prior to living in Rye Brook, he was a resident of Mount Vernon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. Following his years of service, he was employed as a mechanical draftsmen working for the Flynn Burner Corporation in New Rochelle for over 40 years until his retirement in 1993.
Vincento is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Stephen Vincento (Amy) of Hopewell Junction; three granddaughters; sister, Lucy DeRito (Daniel) of Eastchester; and brother, Joseph (Anna) of Sarasota, Fla. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Virginia Fusaro (John).
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 360 Westchester Ave., Port Chester. Interment is private.
