PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Stanislawa Rzepala, 95, a resident of Port Chester, died April 24, 2016.
She was born April 10, 1921 in Siberia, Russia, to Jozef and Marja Jajko. She was raised in Poland, and forced into slave labor in Germany during World War II. She immigrated to the United States in 1951.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester.
Her husband, Jan Rzepala, died in November 1979.
Rzepala is survived by her sons, Zdislaw Rzepala and his wife, Antonia of Ossining, and Edward Rzepala and companion Dianne of Lowell, Mass.; grandchildren Jonathan Rzepala, Emma Vasquez, and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters in Poland.
Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday April 30, at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. in Port Chester. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
