YONKERS, N.Y. – Ruth Marshal, formerly of Yonkers, died Nov. 12. She was 87.
Marshal worked for the Yonkers Board of Education for 18 years and retired in 1987. She was married to Casimir Marshal, who predeceased her. She was most recently of Port Chester.
She is survived by three children, Carol (Chris) Casimos, Cathy (Joseph) Lynch and Martin Marshal; a sister, Elaine Pyrch; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Somers.
