PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Rose M. Cacciola, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died Monday, Feb. 8. She was 76.
She was born April 30, 1939, to Pasquale and Ida Giacci Mallamo. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Cacciola of Port Chester; daughters RoseAnne Startup and her husband, David, of Vernon, Conn.; and Annette Cacciola of Port Chester; brother Vinny Mallamo and his wife, Judy, of Port Chester; sisters Diana Rosabella and her husband, Charles, of Port Chester; and Patricia Baresse and her husband, Frank, of Fairfield, Conn.; grandchildren Joseph Startup, Joseph Hine, Melissa Startup and , Matthew Startup, and four great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother Michael Mallamo and sister Mary "Dolly" Monick.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Don Bosco Place, Port Chester. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook.
