PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Robert "Max" Manning of Port Chester died Dec. 23. He was 74.
He was born Dec. 19, 1938, to Robert and Agnes Johnson Manning. Raised and educated in Port Chester, Manning graduated from Port Chester High School in 1956. He married Anne Versace on May 5, 1978, in Greenwich, Conn.
He owned a catering business, Max's Catering, in Port Chester. He was a member of Sokol Club in Byram, Conn.
Manning is survived by his wife, Anne Manning, of Port Chester; a sister, Diane (William) Bunkoci, of Ridgefield, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Harold Manning; and a sister, Eileen Rappoccio.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich.
