Born in West Islip, to Thomas J. and the late Mary Kathryn "Kay" (Keilman) Dillon, Dillon was known locally as a real estate entrepreneur.

He married his wife, Eileen (White) Dillon in 2006, moving to Bronxville and ultimately settling in Eastchester.

Survived by his wife Eileen; brother to Bob (Linda Trotta); sisters Kathleen Dillon (Dave Patten), and Eileen Thuman (Jim), and 24 nieces and nephews, Dillon was resilient in his response to life's challenges, particularly a severe accident in his teen years, showing a determination that would serve him well throughout his life.
