PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Norma Lavaia Goss, a longtime resident of Port Chester, died on Wednesday, June 17, in Stamford, Conn. She was 78.
Goss was born on June 14, 1937, in Yonkers to Salvatore and Amalia Lavaia.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Mihok of Stamford; her son, William III and his wife, Janine, of Trumbull, Conn.; a brother, Michael Lavaia, and five grandchildren, Gregory and Erica Fragiacomo, Kate and Liza Goss, and Daniel Mihok.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Jr., a daughter, Lisa Fragiacomo and son-in-law Michael Mihok.
Visiting hours are on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral services are on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, South Regent Street in Port Chester.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Corpus Christi Church.
