PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Mary T. Acerbo, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died on Thursday, May 28. She was 89.
Acerbo was born on April 28, 1926, to Zopito and Genevera Passerelli Acerbo, graduating from Port Chester High School and was the supervisor of Payroll and Executive of Stock Options at Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Conn.
She was predeceased by her longtime companion Harry Hayes, brothers Sam and Rocco Acerbo and sister Anna Acerbo, and is survived by a brother Anthony Acerbo and his wife, Carolyn of Greenwich, Conn.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday,at Craft Memorial Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent Street in Port Chester.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
