Mary Schluensen, 94, Former Port Chester Resident

DOVER, N.J. - Mary Schluensen of Dover, formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., died Friday, Nov. 15. She was 94.

Schluensen was born May 28, 1919, in New York City. She was previously from Port Chester, N.Y. She was a member of St. Jude Rosary Altar Society in Budd Lake, the Columbiettes of Knights of Columbus Council 503 in Port Chester, N.Y., and the Selah Adult Day Care in Hackettstown.

Schluensen is survived by her children, Judith Turko (Henry), Robert Schluensen (Katherine), Christine Graziano (Felix "Phil") and Raymond Schluensen; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; friend, Neel; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph; and brothers, Frank, Steve, and Rudy.

Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 260 Westchester Ave., Port Chester. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
