PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester resident Mary R. Costa died Sunday, Jan. 10. She was 96.

Born in 1919 in Rye, Costa was a self-employed beautician. She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church and a member of the Christian Mothers.

Costa was also a member of the Port Chester Seniors.

She is survived by her brother, Michael Carlo, of Hartsdale; seven nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Costa; parents Joseph and Palmina Quaranta Carlo; and brother Thomas Carlo.

Visitation hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Craft Memorial Home, 40 Leicester St., Port Chester. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
