PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Maria Vita of Port Chester died Oct. 22. She was 68.
Vita was born Jan. 19, 1946, in Scillia, Reggio Calabria, Italy, to Giuseppe and Mariangela Fuca Vita. She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.
Vita is survived by her brother, Domenico Vita; sisters, Giuseppa Nobile and Lina Gulli; and husband, Mario, all of Port Chester; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at Corpus Christi Church, 136 South Regent St., Port Chester. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook.
