RYE BROOK, N.Y. - Louise S. King of Rye Brook died Dec. 29. She was 93.
King was born July 4, 1920, to Martha and Harry Straus of New York City and Asheville, N.C.
King is survived by her daughter, Patricia King Gerleit (Steven); son, Thomas (Kathryn); six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Roger; and a daughter, Kathryn Louise.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Entombment will follow the service at Union Field Cemetery in Flushing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the White Plains Hospital Center.
