Hodge was born June 15, 1957, in Greenwich, Conn., to Walter and Vivian Roth. She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1975 and continued to pursue her studies of rocks and minerals at the University of Arizona, where she completed a degree in metal smithing. After receiving a Masters degree from the Gemological Institute of America, she worked at H. Sterns Jewelers and for the American Gemological Laboratories. She then started her own jewelry company.
Hodge is survived by her husband, Cliff; children, Jason and Kara; brothers, Walter Roth (Suzanne), Thomas Roth (Diane), and Karl Roth; sister, Patricia Quell (Frederick); many nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles; and cousins.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, located on the corner of King Street and Comly Abenue, Rye Brook.
