SOUTH CAROLINA. - Joseph William Jacobs, Sr., of South Carolina formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., died Oct. 18. He was 70.
Jacobs was born Dec. 17, 1942, in Hornell, N.Y., son of Harry and Mary Jacobs. He was a member of the Port Chester Police Department for 36 years and retired as a lieutenant.
Jacobs is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Michele Koller (Christopher) of Connecticut., and Joseph W. Jacobs Jr. (Darlene) of S.C.; sister, Margaret Say; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Services will be held at a later date in South Carolina.
