PORT CHESTER, N.Y. Joseph Longo of Port Chester died Sept. 17. He was 97.
He was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Rose, Italy, to Dominick and Philomena Longo. He graduated from trade school in Stamford, Conn., and was employed in Greenwich, Conn.
He married Betty Barbero on Sept. 24, 1949. She survives him. Longo was predeceased by a brother, Damiano.
Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
