GREENWICH, Conn. -- Ira Berliner, of Greenwich, died Tuesday, Nov. 24. He was 68.
Berliner is survived by his partner, Cherie Quain; his children, Stefanie, Aria, and Kyle Berliner; his step children, Sam, Jake Quain (Michelle), Gentry Klein (Ronnie) and their children Lucas, Tyler, and Cameron; brother, Howard Berliner (Peggy) and their family Erik, Erica, Jeffrey, Karen, Rachel, Sarah, Alex and Elizabeth.
Berliner graduated from New York University and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law and a master's in law from NYU. He was a practicing attorney in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida.
He served in the U.S. Army reserves, and was a volunteer firefighter in Purchase.
Berliner was an avid golfer and cook.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at the Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main St., Westport.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Purchase Fire Department, 614 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, N.Y.
