Geroma M. Davide, 91, Former Resident Of Port Chester

MANHEIM, Pa. - Geroma M. "Gerry" Davide, of Manheim, and formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., died Sunday, Nov. 9. She was 91.

Davide was born in Port Chester, N.Y., to Antonio and Domenica Sena Gioffre. Retired in 1993, she worked as a secretary at the former United Hospital, Port Chester, N.Y. Previously, she worked at Homelite, a division of Textron, in Port Chester, N.Y., as an executive secretary for 20 years. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church, Manheim, and Our Lady of the Rosary, Port Chester, N.Y. She was also a life member of St. Anne's Sodality.

Davide is survived by her daughter, Francine (Domenick) Romanello of Manheim; son, Joseph P. (Eileen Hackett) Davide of Harleysville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Gianotta of New Milford, Conn. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph J. Davide; brother, Anthony Gioffre; and sister, Mary Vita.

Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at the Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 at St. Richards RC Church in Manheim.
