PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Geraldine K. Popp, 78, of Port Chester, died Aug. 3, 2015.
She was born Feb. 11, 1937, to the late August and Katherine Melone Kocher. She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1955.
Popp worked for 57 years at the grocery store at 216 Westchester Ave., retiring as manager of Shop Smart in 2010.
She is survived by her husband Dominick Popp of Port Chester, brothers August Kocher of Manassas, Va., and Wayne Kocher of Fort Montgomery, N.Y., cousins William and George Melone of Port Chester.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Craft Memorial Home Inc., 40 Leicester S., Port Chester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Church, Don Bosco Place, Port Chester. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
