Emilia Sprague, 50, Lifelong Port Chester Resident

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Emilia Sprague, a lifelong Port Chester resident, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 6. She was 50.

She was born Sept. 27, 1962, in Port Chester to Enrico Blasi and the late Santa Bellantoni Blasi. She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1980 and married George L. Sprague Jr. on June 11, 1983. 

She worked as a human resource recruiter for The Osborn in Rye, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.

Sprague is survived by her husband, George; two children, Michael and Rene; her father, Enrico Blasi; and a brother, Frank Blasi, and his wife, Maria, all of Port Chester.

Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
