Edward William Koellisch, 96, Longtime Port Chester Resident

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Edward William Koellisch, a longtime resident of Port Chester, died Aug. 7. He was 96.

Koellisch was born Feb. 13, 1917, in Hoboken, N.J.. to John and Sara Perry Koellisch. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School 1935. He was a retired computer operator for Reichhold Chemical in White Plains.

Koellisch is survived by his sons, Robert Koellisch of Port Chester and Edward Koellisch of Henderson, Nev. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Ida Dubois Koellisch; son, Dennis Koellisch; brothers, John, Henry, Charley, William and Jimmy Koellisch; and sisters, Helen Fleischer, Evelyn Kralik, Cathryn Morvero and Emma Egnor.

Calling hours are from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook.
