RYE BROOK, N.Y. – Dorothy Catherine Cord of Rye Brook died Nov. 20 after a prolonged illness. She was 76.
Cord was born in 1936 in Brooklyn to Leo and Mary Bleja. Raised and educated on Long Island, she married Robert Vincent Cord on June 4, 1976. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Deborah Lore and Colleen (Scott) Doros, both of Rye Brook; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
