Catherine Fuss, 87, Longtime Port Chester Resident

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Catherine Marie Fuss, a longtime Port Chester resident, died Sept. 7. She was 87. 

Fuss was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Greenwich, Conn., to Charles Joseph and Esther Glennon Fox. Raised and educated in Greenwich, she was married to Frederick F. Fuss. He died in 1982. She was a retired employee of Byram Shubert Library in Greenwich. 

She is survived by five children, Rita H. (Douglas) Ross, of Armonk, Mary T. (Leonard Jr.) Tiscia, of Naugatuck, Conn., Frances C. (Mark) Milisci, of Washingtonville, N.Y., Henry W. (Asteria) Fuss, of Brookfield, Conn., and Charles J. Fuss, and his life partner, Ted Kotopoulos, of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, George C. Fox, of Greenwich; and 14 grandchildren. Fuss was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Joseph Fox; and three sisters, Margaret Mullin, Helen Fox and Rita Fox. 

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester. Craft Memorial Home handled arrangements.
