MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Carol Roscia Bernarducci,  62,  died on June 25, 2013 in Phoenix after a short illness. She formerly lived in Mamaroneck.

Bernraducci was born April 20, 1951 in Port Chester. Carol grew up in Mamaroneck and attended Rye Neck High School.  Prior to moving to Arizona in 2005, her candle business put a light in many lives.  Carol was known for her love of animals and nature.  Her free spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Lundelius of Mesa, Ariz.; her 23 year partner, Lou Madera; sisters, Lynda Roscia of Connecticut and Diane Roscia Romeo of California; nieces, Keri (May) Isaac, Hayley May, Danielle Romeo and Lynzi Landwehr; nephew, William Romeo; uncle, Salvatore Iannuzzi of Harrison, and many cousins.  She was predeceased by her father, Anthony .

Her family and friends will bury her cremains at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Chester on Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
