Benjamin John 'BJ' Ramos, 34, Port Chester Native, Certified Paramedic

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. – Benjamin John “BJ” Ramos, 34, of South Salem, died Sunday, May 17.

He was born April 4, 1981, in Port Chester, to Neriza Cruz Ramos and the late Benjamin Ramos Sr.

Ramos graduated from John Jay High School, and was a state-certified paramedic.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Kerri Paul Ramos; one daughter, Makenzie Alyssa Ramos; two sisters, Rachelle Samborn and Roxanne Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 21, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah.

Interment will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery, 236 Lexington Ave., Mount Kisco.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
