PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Beatrice "Bea" M. (Lovallo) Conte, longtime resident of Port Chester, died on Saturday, Feb. 13. She was 88.

Conte was worked for Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Empire Brush Works, Port Chester Lumber Company, and Port Chester Rug and Linoleum. "She was a kind and gentle lady who loved her family and took great pride in her home," according to information from Craft Memorial Home.

She is survived by her children, Bruce, Gary and Douglas; grandchildren Christina, Jessica, Janet, Dominick and Anthony Conte; great-grandchildren Alyssa and Christopher Conte-Natale; and several nieces and nephews.

Conte was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ernest Conte; parents Dominick and Anna Lovallo; and brother Joseph Lovallo.

A mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 260 Westchester Ave., in Port Chester. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, in Rye Brook. There will be no visitation. Craft Memorial Home, in Port Chester, is assisting with arrangements.
