Anna Wilson Hooker, 79, Former Port Chester Resident

MT. KISCO, N.Y. - Anna Wilson Hooker of Mount Kisco died March 22. She was 79.

Hooker was born Oct. 17, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She attended Moosic, Pa. Elementary School, then her parents moved to Port Chester. She graduated from Port Chester High School. She worked for many companies in software design, including Reader’s Digest, AT&T and retired from Perkin-Elmer in Norwalk, Conn. After retirement she worked several part-time jobs and was currently employed with Lord & Taylor in Stamford, Conn.

Hooker is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Sandra A. Hooker; son, Richard T. Hooker; and two grandchildren.

Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 and a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 26 at Oelker-Cox Funeral Home, 262 Main St., Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
