PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Ada M. Giordano, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died on Saturday, Aug. 8. She was 85.
Giordano was born on July 24, 1930, to Anthony and Elizabeth Tamburri Vitti.
She was the head bartender for more than 20 years at the American Yacht Club in Rye.
She is survived by her children, John and his wife, Joni of Port Chester, daughter Susan of Ossining, brother Edgar Vitti and his wife, Catherine of Port Chester, three grandsons, John and wife Kristen, Anthony and Marc, and a great-grandson.
Giordano was predeceased by her husband John, brothers Joseph and Jerry Vitti and sisters Louise Coletti and Jennie Pierro.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Craft Memorial Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 260 Westchester Ave. in Port Chester.
Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
