Whole Foods Port Chester Donates To Caritas

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Whole Foods Port Chester will donate 5 percent of all sales made between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday to Caritas of Port Chester Inc. to help alleviate hunger in the area.

The proceeds will benefit the Holy Rosary Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry, both part of Caritas of Port Chester. Whole Foods is in the Kohl’s Shopping Center at 575 Boston Post Road.

Caritas of Port Chester Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, is an outgrowth of the Social Outreach Services of Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester. It operates a food pantry, soup kitchen, clothing distribution site, English as a second language classes and emergency services for those requiring assistance in the community.
