RYE, N.Y. -- Two Easter egg hunts, a video game night and a geological exploration are just some of the events happening in Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester this weekend.
- Teen Game Night at the Rye Free Reading Room , 3:15 p.m.
On the first Friday of every month the Rye Free Reading Room offers area teens an opportunity to play Wii games on the library's big screen. The Rye Free Reading Room is located across from city hall off of Boston Post Road in Rye.
- Old-Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at the Osborn , 11 a.m.
The Osborn Home in Rye is hosting an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt on Saturday that is open to the public and will feature a visit from the Easter bunny. For the first time this year the Lions Club will be selling chocolate Easter bunnies and patrons will have the option of buying a $3 picnic lunch. The Osborn Home is located at 101 Theall Road in Rye.
- Carole D. Kirby Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m.
The Easter bunny will be busy on Saturday as he will also appear at Rye Recreation for their Easter egg hunt. The hunt will take place at Rye Recreation Park near the tennis courts.
- Geology Time Capsule at the Marshlands Conservancy, 2 p.m.
The Marshlands Conservancy located on the Boston Post Road in Rye is offering a looking into the geological history of the planet with a tour of the property.
