PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Heres a look at events happening around the Port Chester and Rye Brook area this week, including government meetings and community happenings.
Monday
-Blind Brook Schools will host a foreign language film night starting at 7 p.m. inside the High School auditorium.
-The Port Chester Village Board of Trustees will meet on Monday inside the Courtroom on Main Street at 7 p.m. The Board will hold a public hearing on amending the village code's parking scofflaw program.
-The Village' Board of Architectural Review will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the village hall conference room on Grace Church Street.
Tuesday
-The polls will be open starting at 7 a.m. as the community will vote to elect two citizens to the Board of Trustees.
-The Rye YMCA is hosting a program called "Let's Move - Feel Inspired Together" starting at 10 a.m. The program costs $20 per session and is open to members only.
-Port Chester's Waterfront Commission will meet inside the Village Hall at 7 p.m.
Wednesday
-Babies and Toddlers are invited to "Wiggle and Giggle Time" at the Rye Free Reading Room for a morning of music and movement starting at 9:15 a.m.
-Port Chester's Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee will meet inside the Conference Room inside the Village Hall.
-Port Chester High School will premiere their Spring Musical "All Shook Up" at 4 p.m. inside the auditorium.
Thursday
-Blind Brook School District's Athletic Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Middle School/High School.
-The Village of Port Chester's Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. inside the conference room located at the Village Hall.
Friday
-Babies and Toddlers are invited to "Wiggle and Giggle Time" at the Rye Free Reading Room for a morning of music and movement starting at 9:15 a.m.
-The Rye Free Reading Room's Fun Club welcomes Spring with stories and crafts for kids five and older starting at 3 p.m.
