What to Do in Port Chester this Weekend

Check out these events happening in Port Chester, Rye Brook and Rye this weekend.

-Come to Rye Playland's Ice Casino for "Party Night" Friday starting at 8 p.m. The event includes a live DJ, on-ice contests, and giveaways. Admission is $12 and includes skate rental.

-Blind Brook High School presents the Spring Musical "Hello, Dolly!" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

-The Rye Free Reading Room is offering pre-school story and craft time from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday morning.

-On Saturday at 8 a.m., members of the Port Chester Irish Association will raise the flag pole at Liberty Square in remembrance of all the members of the association who died since last St. Patrick's Day.

- Y2Night!, Rye YMCA's middle school teen night, starts at 7 p.m. and offers an opportunity for local teens to enjoy all the Y has to offer. Tickets are $5 for non-members.

- "Saturday Night Grooves" at Rye Playland Ice Casino offers participants a chance to step back into the past with 1970s, '80s, and '90s garb and music.

- Port Chester/Rye Brook Annual Kiwanis Club Breakfast will start at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Port Chester Middle School.

- Friends of the Rye Nature Center will conduct a family garden workshop this Sunday from 12:30-2 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. The event, which is sponsored by the YMCA, is free for Y members and $10 for non-members.
