Trio of Thieves Hit Modell's in Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A trio of thieves made off with over $1,000 in merchandise from Modell's on the Boston Post Road in Port Chester on Friday evening, according to the Port Chester Police Department.

Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police said that a Modell's employee spotted three black males swipe 15 Adidas jackets and then make off in a maroon or red Cadillac Escalade around 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

One of the men was described as approximately 30 years old, standing around 6'1, weighing about 300 pounds and with a bald head. The other two men were described as closer to 25 years old and thinner than their partner. The woman guessed that one stood at about 5'9 while the other was closer to 6'2.

Modell's estimates the total goods stolen to $1,020. The employee was unsure if the men made off with any additional items.
