PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester may not have gotten the worst of Saturday's nor'easter, but 388 residents still have no power.
All schools and roads were open Monday morning after Saturday's freak snow storm hit Westchester County. But, Port Chester escaped relatively unscathed, said Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.
"We had 14 reports of wires down and two trees," Ladeairous said. "Other than that, nothing serious."
Currently, 55,507 of 348,198 Con Edison customers remain without power. Since the storm began Saturday, 118,000 customers have experienced power outages, according to the Con Edison website.
To report a downed wire, power outage and to check service restoration, customers can call 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633), or visit its website . When reporting an outage, have your Con Edison account number available, if possible, and report whether your neighbors have also lost power.
