PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The license to operate the former Renaissance Project outpatient addiction treatment program in Port Chester has been granted to St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester.
The program is now known as the Port Chester Recovery Center, and will continue to be operated at 132 Pearl St. It will continue to provide outpatient addiction treatment services to adults and adolescents. The Port Chester Recovery Center can be reached by calling 914-939-2700.
The Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health,coordinated the transition. Dahlia Austin, DCMH director of Drug and Alcohol Services, said, “We are pleased that we were able to work out the transfer to ensure that the clinic’s clients continue to receive the services they need. We appreciate St. Vincent’s willingness to move quickly so that there was no gap for the clients or the employees.” Bernadette Kingham-Bez, executive director of St. Vincent’s Hospital added, “We are very pleased that all of the current staff will be retained and that St. Vincent’s can continue to serve the center’s clients.”
Mike Seminara, the center’s director, said, “We are very happy that our clients will receive the services they need without interruption.”
St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester, in Harrison, a division of St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services and residential programs in Westchester County and New York City.
