The summit, sponsored by Human Development Services of Westchester’s (HDSW) neighborhood preservation program, will also cover issues ranging from landlord and tenant rights to residential code enforcement and fair housing. Workshops will be offered in Spanish and English.

There will be demonstrations, refreshments and raffles. There is no charge to attend.

The village’s housing stock is aging, says HDSW, and it is important to know how to deal with environmental hazards such as lead, carbon monoxide, rodents, and mold.

The summit will be held at the Port Chester Salvation Army Community Center, 36 Bush Ave., Port Chester, N.Y.

Registration is recommended. For more information, call (914)-939-2005, or email HDSWHousingHelp@aol.com.
