  • Town of Rye officials sold the Town Hall building on Pearl Street in Port Chester to the owners of Neri's Bakery and the Capitol Theatre for $1.85 million. The Town will move its operations to the Village of Port Chester's office on Grace Church Street by the end of the year.
  • The Porcelli family will host its seventh annual Lemonade for Leukemia event on Aug. 10 at 38 Hobart Ave. in Port Chester. The family has raised more than $13,000 over the previous six events, and is hoping to raise $5,000 this year.
  • Gas prices continue to rise, and could stay up until September or October. Experts point to the situation in Egypt as one of the reasons for the recent spike in gas prices.
