PORT CHESTER, N.Y. The Klein family browsed through stacks of plastic gravestones, skulls and buckets of eyeballs in preparation for Halloween.
"We have some friendly ghosts we usually put up, but the kids decided they wanted something scarier this year," said David Klein of Rye Brook.
The Kleins went together to go shopping for Halloween decorations at Party City on Boston Post Road. "We like to do things as a family," said Klein.
Klein said he enjoys this time of year when a lot of the other houses on his block are decked out with skeleton, cobwebs and the like. "It's just fun getting into the spirit of Halloween," he said.
