Restaurant Pokes Fun at Apocalypse Scare

Employees at one Port Chester restaurant are glad the world didn’t end last Saturday.

The day after the big apocalypse hubbub, Rodrigo Aguillon, owner of Arcuri’s Pizza and Salad at 46 N. Main St., put up a sign outside the restaurant inviting customers to come in and enjoy their “stay on Earth.”

“It actually helped business a little bit,” he said. “We were pretty busy over the weekend. It was kind of funny.” Until the end of the month, customers get a free can of soda with every two slices and a free two liter drink with a $30 purchase.
