Port Chester's Boy Scouts Present Food Drive To Help Community

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Boy Scouts are holding a food drive, "Food 2 Grow On" on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Stop and Shop Port Chester.

Boys Scouts are accepting donations for its food drive.

Food items can also be dropped off at All Souls Parish at 55 Parkway Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until Friday, March 20.

Foods that will be accepted for the drive are low sugar cereals, peanut butter in plastic jars, pasta, macaroni and cheese, hunts sauce in cans, tuna, canned or cartons chicken broth, canned vegetables or fruit, crackers,

The food items will help the children in the community.
