PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - As most Port Chester residents were out celebrating the new year, two female attendees of the Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse's New Year's Eve party reported stolen pocket books.
According to Lt. Jim Ladeairous of the Port Chester police department, the women called around 3:42 a.m. that their pocket books had been stolen out of the Copacabana's coat room, which does not lock.
Another woman reported a stolen jacket, although Lt. Ladeairous believes it may have been a simple mix up.
The Police Department received also received a call on Monday, January 2nd from members of Kohl's reporting petit larceny. Amy McDonnell, 19, is being charged with petit larceny for attempting to shoplift three items valued at approximately $134.
