PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A Port Chester woman who has channeled her love of music into teaching tops this week's news.
- Nichole Peyreigne of Port Chester was an all-state violinist in high school and performed in the opera "Falstaff" in New York City. She has recently begun giving children lessons in voice, viola, violin and piano in Port Chester.
- The Capitol Theatre will be marking the one-year anniversary of its reopening in September. The celebration will include shows by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Patti Smith and Willie Nelson
- .Port Chester will become part of a 2,900-mile trail from Maine to Florida. The East Coast Greenway will be posting signs throughout the village marking it as part of the path for cyclists and long trail enthusiasts.
