Port Chester Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Toddler

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Ruben Delisa, 57, of Port Chester has been charged with sexual assault in the third degree, a felony, after inappropriately touching a 3-year-old boy at a Port Chester party last Saturday.

According to Lt. Jim Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department, the parents filed a complaint against Delisa on Monday the Jan. 28 after reviewing the host's videotape of the party.

The report states that the complainant spotted Delisa inappropriately touching the toddler in the buttocks and subsequently told the man to stop. After spotting Delisa acting inappropriately a second time the couple quickly left the party.

On Monday the couple reported the incident and shared with police video evidence of the acts from the party. Police figured the evidence to be substantial enough to charge Delisa with the class D felony.

Delisa is currently being held without bail at the county jail and will be arraigned in court on Thursday.
