Interviews for the new superintendent of Port Chester schools were held Friday at the Port Chester Middle School.The three finalists are current assistant superintendent Frank Fanelli, superintendent of Hackensack, N.J., schools, Edward Kliszus and Ardsley Superintendent Charles Khoury. The board of education has not set a deadline for the decision, said Jim Taylor, school board president.
Thomas Elliot, the interim superintendent, is in place until June 30 and could have his term extended.
Former superintendendent, Donald Carlisle, left Port Chester in January and will become superintendent of New Jersey's Englewood School District,
