Seniors have a multitude of activities to choose from including a Wii tennis league, practice tai chi and share a hot lunch with friends from the center. The seniors also go on field trips, including taking buses to casinos. The center features a fully equipped exercise room, offers educational classes and wellness programs, as well as provide services to help seniors navigate Medicare and housing issues.
A shuttle bus is available to ferry members to and from the 222 Grace Church St. center and also take some on shopping trips.
It is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m and joining just requires seniors to fill out a simple registration form and show proof of residency. For more information see the center's website , or call (914) 939-4975.
