Juan Cuadros keeps the plants hydrated at Floral Fashions in Port Chester especially during Thursday afternoons scorching temperatures.
Luckily, when temperatures hit a high of 91 degrees plants inside remained cool. However, dozens more were stacked outside in the heat all day.
"Anything that's not in the ground dries up fast," said Tom DiBuono, who's owned the business since 1979. "They all need water on days like this."
